Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of something truly special – the spa branding photoshoot at HUSH Luxury Esthetics in beautiful Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Get ready to dive into the world of relaxation and rejuvenation, all captured through the lens of my camera.

Meet the Mastermind: Kristen Perez

First things first, let’s talk about the brains behind this operation. Kristen Perez, the owner and esthetician extraordinaire, is the heart and soul of HUSH Luxury Esthetics. With her passion for skincare and her commitment to making every spa experience top-notch, Kristen is the driving force behind this luxurious retreat. After attending prestigious and nationally ranked education in Esthetics, Kristen has notably become one of the most sought-after Etheticians in the Philadelphia suburbs. She has owned and operated a highly buzzed about Spa’s for over 15 years and proudly brought the first spa concept to her bustling Chester County flagship location. Kristen also launched a luxury organic skincare line “Croia” which draws from powerful actives, plant extracts, peptides, antioxidants, and healing formulations for healthy, glowing skin.

Capturing the Essence of HUSH Luxury Esthetics

The goal of this spa branding photoshoot was to capture the essence of the spa through a variety of images. The main focuses were on employee headshots, images of the spa itself, the ritual foot soak service, facials, permanent makeup offerings, and Croia skincare products. I need to take a moment here to talk about one of their standout offering, the ritual foot soak. Experiencing the foot soak firsthand was amazing! We’re talking aromatic herbs, soothing ambiance, and the promise of total relaxation! Ahhhhh. 

Spa Branding Photoshoot: The Grand Opening

In a nutshell, HUSH Luxury Esthetics’ spa branding photoshoot was a success capturing a variety of images to be used across their social media marketing. Kristen was delivered a gallery of images to help promote the grand opening of the spa from a variety of angles.

  • I believe it’s important for every business owner to get in front of the camera. And that even includes me! I don’t always enjoy getting in front of the camera. Just like everyone else I look at myself and see things I don’t like or I wish I could change. But instead of dwell on these, I tell myself that I am worthy to show up. No one person is perfect. And neither am I. But here I am accepting who I am and showing up confidently! I’m telling you this because you too are worthy to show up in your business. Be who you are now, in this moment! Stop listening to your limiting beliefs and step into the moment. This moment. The moment to be YOU! I will always be your personal cheerleader! Xoxo ashley proven
  • For some people getting your picture taken is really stressful, and I totally understand! It can be uncomfortable if you aren’t used to doing it all the time. Here are my top 3 tips for when you are going to be stepping in front of a professional camera: #1 Relax and Have Fun! Remember to breathe and relax during the photoshoot. Try to enjoy the experience and let your personality shine through in your expressions and body language. Sometimes, the best photos come from candid moments when you’re genuinely enjoying yourself! So, embrace the moment, smile naturally, and allow yourself to have fun in front of the camera. #2 Plan Your Outfit: Choose clothing that makes you feel confident and comfortable! Also, ensure that your outfit is clean, wrinkle-free, and fits you properly. Consider the background of the photoshoot location or background color and choose colors that complement it without blending in too much. And always bring options, it’s better to have too many options instead of not enough! #3 Practice Posing: I always tell my clients to spend some time practicing different poses in front of a mirror to see which angles flatter you the most. Relax your shoulders, stand up straight, and experiment with slight angles of your body and face to find what looks most natural and appealing. If you have specific concerns about your appearance, such as a prominent feature or insecurity, be sure to let me know beforehand so I can help you pose in ways that minimize those concerns.
